Founder Story

The Warriors Community was born in 2020 as a passion project to help people who were new to the gym environment. I wanted to create a programme where individuals could not only learn the fundamentals of weightlifting but also build the confidence to train with purpose. The programme quickly grew beyond teaching the basics, my clients were becoming friends, training together, and supporting one another both inside and outside the gym. It was clear that this wasn’t just a fitness programme; it was a community. I began calling each of my clients a “Warrior” because, to me, a Warrior is someone who pushes through life’s daily challenges with strength, discipline, and resilience. It’s not just about lifting weights; it’s about becoming the best version of yourself through consistent training, better nutrition, and lifestyle changes. Seeing this community flourish made me realise that we needed a dedicated space where all the Warriors could come together. In November 2023, I opened the Warriors’ Fitness Studio, a place where like-minded individuals can train, grow, and support one another on their journey toward self-improvement.

My journey into fitness began from a place of struggle. Lacking confidence and completely new to the gym environment, I decided to hire a personal trainer. That experience changed my life. Inspired by my trainer, I realised that I wanted to help others who, like me, were uncertain about where to start or how to build confidence. This led me to become a personal trainer, dedicated to supporting people on their own paths to self-improvement. I started my career working in a large gym, teaching classes and guiding many clients to become stronger, healthier versions of themselves. I understand how intimidating it can be to learn something new-there’s fear, doubt, and uncertainty. But watching my clients progress, hearing them say “I did it” or “I feel strong,” is the most rewarding part of being a coach. To further support my clients beyond the gym, I also studied Dietetics and Nutrition. This has given me the knowledge to provide holistic guidance, empowering people to succeed not just in their workouts but in their daily lives through better nutrition and lifestyle choices.

My journey into the gym wasn’t exactly planned-I’ve always been a football guy, and the football pitch was where I felt most at home. About 8 years ago, I found myself in the gym looking to build stronger legs after an injury so I could get back on the field. But what started as a way to improve my game turned into a passion for weightlifting. I fell in love with the process, and since then, I’ve dedicated myself to building a stronger and healthier physique. Becoming a personal trainer was the natural next step for me. I wanted to help others who, like me, might not have started as gym-goers but want to become stronger and more confident. I love working with beginners, helping them learn the basics of weightlifting, but I also enjoy pushing more experienced lifters to reach their full potential. My coaching style is patient and supportive, but I’m always ready to challenge you to lift heavier and achieve your goals.

I am a highly experienced trainer with a passion for helping people achieve their fitness goals, whether it is weight loss, muscle gain, or improved athletic performance. My holistic approach to training combines strength training, functional fitness, and nutrition guidance to ensure sustainable, long-term results.

I grew up in Senegal, where being active is part of everyday life. Like many young Senegalese, I was an avid athlete and participated in various sports, especially football. I started playing at a very young age and joined several clubs while studying. Balancing both football and my education, I completed my degree in Biology, Chemistry, and Geoscience at the University Cheikh Anta Diop of Dakar alongside my football career.

My passion for fitness truly began when I moved to Russia for my master’s degree. The cold weather made it difficult to play football outdoors, so I started training in the gym instead. That’s where I discovered my love for strength training. Inspired by bodybuilders and fitness professionals, I immersed myself in this new journey and eventually became a certified trainer, helping others overcome similar lifestyle challenges.

After earning my degree, I pursued multiple certifications in personal training, strength and conditioning, and nutrition to further enhance my expertise.

Today, I am proud to help others transform their bodies and minds, building strength, confidence, and healthier habits that last.
